Ensembles

Our ensemble program is designed to bring together small groups of young musicians to help them learn how to work together. While under the supervision and direction of the professional leading the group, children will learn to perform musical pieces tailored to their individual levels of experience.

As many elementary and middle schools have cancelled or don’t offer band and orchestra programs, our goal is to provide options for students who would like to have the experience they would get in school, but with more individual attention and the ability to play a key role in a small ensemble. We also provide instruments for rental and purchase, as well as consign them for those that wish to sell.

Although students are encouraged to take private lessons with one of our teachers, a small group ensemble provides the financial benefit of being significantly less expensive than private lessons. In order to keep things at a comfortable pace, youth ensembles meet for an hour and twenty minutes to allow the teacher to spend a little extra time with each student. Cost is $25 per session. Ideally, a student will alternate weeks between a private lesson and the ensemble, giving them adequate time to learn the material and be better prepared to work as a group.

All instruments are welcome, including woodwind, brass, strings, guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, keyboards, drums and more.

Email  or call for more information. We look forward to working together.
