Behringer Vintage Time MachineBehringer
Behringer's take on the classic Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man analog delay. The voicing is slightly darker than the EHX, and repeats tend to be a little grittier and more lo-fi. Chorus/ vibrato modulation on this unit sounds lush and more usable than most DMM's I've tried. The original Deluxe Memory Man is known for having one of the most usable analog delays ever made, with a dark, lush character on the repeats that haze up the mix without getting in the way of the notes being played. Although the Vintage Time Machine uses different chips than the original DMM's, it fills the same niche very nicely with some of its own character; the differences may very well be desirable for many delay users.
