Conn MIJ Classical Guitar c. 1970'sConn
Here's a vintage, 1970's era Japanese built Conn Classical guitar. The quality of the materials and the level of craftsmanship on these vintage Japanese instruments is nothing short astonishing! This guitar is extremely lively and resonant acoustically with a warm, smooth, sweet tone. It has a very loud, punchy tone and projects very well. This guitar is constructed utilizing a mahogany neck, back and sides, a rosewood fingerboard and a spruce top. Top notch woods! Weighing in at 3 lb. 12 oz., this Conn has a large, round neck profile and plays wonderfully with an easy, relaxed feel. There is a little bit of wear and tear on the guitar in the form of some dings, chips and impressions. The largest ding is on the rear of the body and is pictured. There's also a bit of hanger wear around the headstock. It would be extremely difficult to duplicate this level of quality and materials in a guitar today and, if you could, it wouldn't be anywhere close to this price!
