Eastwood Joey Leone Signature P90 Vintage Sunburst 335 Style with Bigsby Vibrato and HSCEastwood
This Eastwood Joey Leone is as stunning visually as it is tonally. Boasting high end appointments such as a figured maple body, split parallelogram inlays, gold hardware, bound F-holes, Grover Imperial tunes and a Bigsby tailpiece, this Eastwood looks like something you'd see on the cover of one of Grandpa's old vinyl Jazz LP's. You can be excused for thinking this Leone is a 335 clone due to it's silhouette except that there are plenty of twists here that separate the two. The set-in mahogany neck has a longer 25 1/2" scale length to increase the twang factor and the center block is mahogany rather than maple. The three Kent Armstrong designed P-90 pickups each have their own on/off/tapped switching system providing a staggering 27 total pickup combinations! You want twangy rockabilly tone? Check. How about smooth, fat Jazz tone? Check. Crunchy, raspy rock rhythm? Yup. There's pretty much nothing this Eastwood won't do. Weighing in at 8 lb. 10 oz., this one is a great player with a nice, low action sitting on a slim taper "C" profile neck. There's virtually no play wear to speak of. If you look hard, you can see some finish swirling. Whatever! This Eastwood is the guitar version of a Cadillac with tail fins and a hot rodded engine under the hood!
