Electra MPC 70's Vintage Les Paul Copy Electric GuitarElectra
For sale is an excellent 70's vintage Electra Les Paul copy. Part of their MPC line of guitars, these Japanese made Les Paul copies are truly excellent guitars for the money. Originally featuring a plug and pull series of modular effects that were controlled onboard via two toggles and pots. This guitar has had the module wiring removed and switched to standard Gibson 50's wiring. It has a solid mahogany body, with a brass block mounted on the body under the bridge, a brass nut, nice round neck somewhere between a 50's and 60's Gibson style with a volute to add neck support. Tonally this guitar is all Les Paul, with a great clarity and bell like chime with plenty of gusto. The bridge pickup can be plucky and pronounced, and scream with razor sharp definition when distorted. The neck pickup is round and jazzy, with plenty of bass and bubble that maintains composure with chords and fattens up massively when pushing an amplifier. Cosmetically in good condition, this guitar has plenty of dings and scratches across the top, body and back as well as a few chips and finish imperfections on the headstock. For the money you'd be hard pressed to find a better Les Paul than this excellently crafted vintage Japanese oddity.
