Epiphone Demon V Electric Guitar c. 2001Epiphone
In celebration of the upcoming 30th Anniversary of Shark Week and the 43 Anniversary of Jaws, I present to you the Epiphone Demon V. With it's evil offset "Rhoads" style body and aquamarine blue finish, this V is sure to intimidate even the largest and most ferocious Carcharodon Carcharias. In case you haven't figured it out, the thing looks like a Great White Shark to me, OK? Hey, you think it's easy coming up with new stuff to write every week? Anyway...This baby is super rare, being manufactured in Korea only in 2001 and 2002. This one is nice and light at 6 lbs. 8 oz. and is ready to shred with a slim, fast "C" profile maple bolt on neck. It's fast and easy to play, quick on it's feet, very responsive and surprisingly resonant. This Demon has a thick, full tone that's very smooth. The overall condition is good with minimal fret wear and average wear on the body in the form of chips, dings, impressions and some scratches. This is a great playing, killer sounding rock guitar that may have some collector appeal down the road. And lest you think that I'm crazy about the shark thing, dig the last picture. See what I mean?
