Epiphone Dot StudioEpiphone
This Epiphone DOT is living, breathing proof that one doesn't have to spend big bucks to get a high quality, professional tone. I'll admit, this one was a bit surprising to me at first. You don't expect a whole lot from a guitar that costs in the range of three bills. The thick, round neck profile feels great and the action is low and spongy, lending a super easy, smooth playability to this guitar. The tone is woody and resonant and the alnico humbuckers sound really good. All of those classic, vinyl era 335 tones are inside this one. The overall condition on this DOT is pretty good. There's some light play wear such as swirling, small impressions and light scratches. This is more due to the thin satin finish than any real abused heaped onto this guitar. This Epiphone sounds a hell of a lot better than it's price would indicate.
