Epiphone Emperor Regent 1994 KoreaEpiphone
The Epiphone Emperor is one of the quintessential Jazz guitars of our time. They absolutely kill at smooth, warm Jazz tones but they can do so much more than that. The Emperor is a highly competent blues and swing guitar, as well. The fat, round tone and sweet, transparent high end perfectly lends itself to the moody, emotional feel required in blues. However, the Emperor is still complex sounding enough to impart a sophisticated, high end tonal quality to the music. Jump and Swing players will also love how the mini humbucker still has enough power to crunch up a small tweed amp, making it simple to achieve a filthy, guttural tone. Construction features include a maple neck, maple back and sides, spruce top and rosewood fingerboard. This particular Epiphone comes in at 6 lbs. 14 ozs. She's in wonderful condition considering she's almost a quarter century old. There's minimal finish wear with no major dings, dents or chips. The frets show minimal wear considering the age and this Epi plays great with a medium low action. Come and take the Emperor for a spin, it'll be tough to put down.
