Fender Blue Flower Stratocaster CIJFender
Flower power, baby! This beautiful, crafted in Japan Blue Flower Stratocaster pays homage to those groovy, far out Fenders of the 1960's. Boasting a psychedelic floral pattern finish and legendary Japanese quality, this Strat is a treat for the eyes and ears.
Built between 1999-2002, this Strat weighs in at 7 lb. 14 oz., kinda the "money" range for Strat weight. Heavy enough to make single notes full and dense but not heavy enough to wear out your shoulder on a long gig. This one is equipped with a medium "C" shaped neck profile and an action that's perilously light, low and easy. This one's built for speed and practically plays itself. The tone is plucky, clucky and snappy. Total vintage Strat bell tone!
This one's quite clean and shiny with the exception of a dent/finish crack/marring on the lower bout of the body (please see photo). The tuners were changed over to Fender locking units for the ultimate in tuning stability. And, just a suggestion for all the extroverts out there, this guitar looks great parked next to our Surf Green Super Sonic 22 amp that we have here in the shop. Just sayin'. Kinda the ultimate gig rig when you want to let your freak flag fly.
