Fender Squier Jagmaster Sunburst Duncan PickupsBirdhouse Music
Some guitars just refuse to conform to the tiresome conventions of modern society. This Squier Jagmaster is cut out for rebellion and has the rough and tumble attitude to kick some serious ass. Needless to say, the Jagmaster is a hybrid between Fender's shortscale Jaguar, and the ever so versatile Jazzmaster, with a few curveballs thrown in for good measure. Weighing in at a balanced 7.14lb, the Jagmaster features an alder body, 25.5" scale maple neck w/ rosewood board, a Strat-style trem, and two hot and resonant Seymour Duncan Humbuckers. The tremolo has been blocked, making this guitar function as a hardtail for the time being. Tonally, this guitar sings when clean and roars when distorted. Cosmetically this Jagmaster has some hard earned battle-scars - the pickguard has cracked and been glued near the input jack, there is a small chip near the neck pocket that has also been reglued, as well as an assortment of small dents and markings from its victorious years on the battlefield. If you're looking for a no nonsense powerhouse with a tried and true resilience and a whole lotta attitude, this Squier Jagmaster is for you.
