Hamer Centura Super Strat MIKHamer
The 1980's called and they want their guitars back! Continuing with the recent run of shredding Super Strats at the Birdhouse is a Korean-made Hamer Centura finished in a sassy Hot Rod Red. This guitar proudly wears it's most 1980's feature like a badge of honor. I'm talking, of course, about the reverse headstock. We all know good and well one cannot shred without a reverse headstock. I also find this feature a little more convenient for tuning, but, I digress. Weighing in at a svelte 7.0 lbs., you can rock out all night long with windmill power chords without wearing out your rotator cuff. The slim, smooth "C" shape neck plays great with low, easy action. This guitar has such a spongy give to the notes, it's never harsh or brittle just heavy on the cholesterol. Very fun to play and expressive. Super Strat pickup configuration includes a coil tap switch for the bridge pickup. About a 7/10 cosmetically with some neck wear, finish wear, marks on the headstock. There's also some light to moderate fret wear. Awesome guitar for the price though; a reliable player with a lot of tonal possibilities. 80's approved!
