Ibanez XV-500 Painted and Customized by Scott FischerIbanez
Slither back into your fluorescent pink spandex, tease your hair with Aqua Net and strap on your Way Back Machine, which comes in the form of this vintage Ibanez XV-500. Hand built in Japan in 1985 at the height of hair metal / glam rock movement, this baby features all the lightning quick response and hair trigger performance that you'd expect from an Ibanez of this era. This XV-500 is equipped with a slim to medium sized oval "C" shaped neck profile that plays ultra fast with a low, lithe action for a super slinky feel. It's lightweight at 7.0 lbs. even and surprisingly well balanced and comfortable to play. The Maxon V5 rail humbuckers sound loud, tight and super crunchy with pinch harmonics available all over the neck. Lots 'O fun! This one also has the added visual impact (As if it needs anymore eye appeal!) of a custom paint job by Scott Fischer. This rare guitar is in good overall condition with only some light play wear in the form of some minor impressions and pick marks. The frets show surprisingly little wear. So...Break out your two handed tapping and sweep arpeggio licks and take pride in knowing you will NEVER see anyone playing this exact guitar.
