Ludwig Vistalite Blue 70's DrumsLudwig
Here’s the talk of the town, alright. These blue Vistalite’s are in killer shape with the sizes more traditional to a jazz kit; the bass drum was professionally converted from an 18″x18″ floor tom, the current floor tom measures 16″x14″, and the one mounted rack tom measures 13″X9″. The shells and hoops are in great shape and the heads are in equally as good of condition with plenty of miles left in them. Cosmetically the one thing that sticks out is that the badge on the bass drum is chewed up some around the edges, but is still riveted in place and not going anywhere. Given the sizes and the material of the shells this set up could be used very dynamically; in that Vistalites are known in general for being loud, cannon like drums, but jazz kits aren’t usually linked to being one’s that are meant to cut through the mix as intensely. So if you’re adding on to a larger kit or playing some truly “out there” music, these would be perfect to mix in!
