Matao Rocker Japan 1977 Lawsuit GuitarBirdhouse Music
Let’s start off by saying this guitar currently holds the distinction of being the undiscovered gem here at Birdhouse Music. She may have a sleek and understated design, an unassuming price tag, and a nondescript headstock, but damn this is one fine guitar we have here. This Matao Rocker was built in the Hoshino Gakki factory in Japan sometime in the late ‘80s or early ‘90s, and bears all the markings of a high end Japanese instrument: rock solid craftsmanship, high quality hardware, smooth playability, and absolutely delightful tone. This baby weighs in at a respectable 7lb 12oz, and is in absolutely great condition. There may be some minor dings and swirls in the finish, but we’ve got a player here not a wallflower. If you’re looking for one mean axe for the literal pennies you can scrounge from your piggy bank, scoop this Matao Rocker up and melt face.
