Sigma by Martin Dreadnought DM-4Sigma
Sigma guitars were Martin's entry level acoustics back in the day. Weighing in at 5 lbs. 4 ozs., this particular dreadnought was likely manufactured sometime in the early to mid-1990's. Considering the approximate vintage of this guitar, it's very clean. There's very little play wear or fret wear to speak of. It can definitely produce a very respectable facsimile of that trademark Martin tone, namely clear articulate tone with sweet, bright highs. The note separation is excellent without any booming, muddy low end. This one also looks to be constructed with the good stuff; Mahogany neck, back and sides, rosewood fingerboard and a spruce top.
